Friends of Penlee House Christmas Shopping Evening on Wednesday 6 December 5.30pm – 7.30pm

Join us on a journey through West Cornwall, incorporating Marazion, Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Land’s End, Sennen, Zennor and St Ives. Featuring urban, rural and coastal landscapes and lesser-known topographical works from the Penlee House collection

Principal Craftsman, Michael Johnson will be giving a lecture about The Newlyn Copper Works. Michael has been recognised as the leading artisan coppersmith in the UK. Combining traditional coppersmith skills with the latest metalwork technology, The Copper Works produces the highest quality hand-crafted bespoke copper work available.

Barbara Kirk is a valuer, auctioneer and sole proprietor with over 35 years of experience in the antiques business. Began by gaining eight years of experience as a dealer, standing at antique fairs & with a shop in Penzance.

Casey Meyer-Bourne will be giving a lecture about archaeology. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear about the rich and diverse archaeological sites cared for by the Cornwall Heritage Trust.

The exhibition will incorporate over 50 paintings from public and private collections, celebrating Harvey’s entire career. This includes some works which have rarely, if ever, been seen before
