By becoming a Friend, you will be part of a friendly, vibrant Penlee House community. You will: 

  • gain unlimited entry to the Gallery & Museum all year round
  • receive a print copy of Artefact, our magazine for members, which appears three times a year
  • are invited to the Private View opening for each new exhibition
  • pay a reduced fee for lectures and events, with free attendance at the lecture following our AGM
  • receive 10% discount on most items in the shop
  • receive a monthly e-newlsetter to keep you in touch.

How the Friends help Penlee House

  • Working as partners in the development of the Gallery and its collections.
  • Providing funds to assist with the purchase of pictures and artefacts.

  • Offering a charitable vehicle for bequests to Penlee House.
  • Sharing information and giving feedback to help the work of Penlee House.

Penlee House is a delight. It is a beautifully curated gallery with a fascinating little museum in which one can learn so much about the history of the area

About us

The Friends of Penlee House is a registered charity (No: 1206841), the object of which is to support the aims and activities of Penlee House Gallery and Museum, home to the county’s best known collection of work by artists of the Newlyn School.
